I Hate Hines Ward

Of all the Steelers, I hate Hines Ward the most by far. What a jackass! How dare he mock the Ickey Shuffle. I hope his ass gets flattened on Sunday. Stop smiling all the time!

Vick in Pro Bowl?!
posted @ 11:13 am in [ Sports ]

How the hell did Michael Vick make the Pro Bowl? Are the NFC quarterbacks just that bad? Vick’s numbers are nothing special. I guess he’s considered exciting because he runs all over the field like a chicken with its head cut off because he is a lousy pocket passer. That’s why his team failed to reach the playoffs. Wake up people. Vick sucks.

Bengal Haters
posted @ 6:45 pm in [ Sports ]

The question that has bothered me all season, and which is now even more amplified now that we are in the playoffs: Why does everyone hate the Cincinnati Bengals? I just don’t get it. After 15 years of mediocrity, the Bengals are finally good. But all I hear from people and the media is constant criticism of the team. All year we got to endure the crappy announcers and the obvious bias they all had toward Cincinnati, no matter who they were playing against. It was freakin’ ridiculous! I can’t imagine what jackasses we’ll get for our first playoff game in 15 years. I’m sure we will hear plenty of comments about how the Bengals are too young, immature, and inexperienced compared to how FANFREAKINTASTIC the Pittsburgh Steelers are. We get absolutely no respect.

In fact, the only media guy who has consistently supported Cincinnati is former Bengal and CBS analyst Boomer Esiason. I applaud Boomer for standing behind the team where he became a star. Boomer believed, and so did all the Cincinnati fans.

Back to the jackass know-it-alls who give the Bengals no respect. What exactly do they want? Just three years ago we were the worst team in the NFL. 12 years of futility left many to believe no one could save the Bengals. Then Marvin Lewis came and turned this lowly squad into serious contenders. Yet apparently that’s not enough for many.

Here’s the thing. The Bengals aren’t just a flash in the pan team. We aren’t going to go back to our old ways after this 11-5 season. The Bengals are going to be here for many years to come. They are one of the youngest teams in the league with a third year quarterback who didn’t even take a snap his rookie season. And how good is Carson Palmer? Only his third year as a pro and he is already the 2nd best quarterback in the league (right behind Peyton Manning). In addition, the Bengals roster is full of young talent that will only get better in the next few years.

So here’s what I have to say to all the doubters out there. Go ahead and dismiss the Bengals. In the next 1 to 3 years when we’re in the Super Bowl, you will be forced to pay attention to us. I’m looking in your direction ESPN.

Low Cost Burgers a Necessity
posted @ 8:29 pm in [ Random Thoughts ]

In some of the best news I have gotten recently, Wendy’s has changed the price of its jr. bacon cheeseburger back to 99 cents. I can’t tell you how mad I was when they upped it to $1.29. I thought those big corporate fat cats had found another way to stick it to us hardworking folk by increading the price of one of the most cost effective burgers ever. Thank god someone came to their senses and rectified this problem. Now I don’t have to hesitate when in the drive thru at Wendy’s. Leave that extra $0.30 at home everbody. The world makes sense again.
