Beverly Hills…
posted @ 9:24 pm in [ Entertainment ]

…that’s where I wanna be. I think. Either way, I’m here now, right smack dab in the middle of it. And I’m a long way from home.

I’ve never seen so many fancy cars in my life. It almost makes me not want a Mercedes or BMW, because everyone out here has one. You literally cannot turn around without seeing a car like this. I just looked out the window and counted four.  even Bentleys are commonplace.
Anyway, I’m going to keep a list of celebrities I see.  Here it is so far:

Jay Mohr

Donatella Versace (along with paparazzi)

If you ever see Brian Urlacher walking around by chance, could you kiss him for me? He is superr hot! I love linebackers.

    I think Jodi is confused.
Beverly Hills is about 2000 miles from Chicago sweetie.

  4. FEKLAAR Says:

ALL OF CALIFORNIA WILL KNEEL BEFORE FEKLAAR!

  5. greg Says:

FEKLAAR, you are going to get the same treatment nemesis got on this site.

    SHUT THE F*CK UP!!!

I’ve been to LA once and it was enough for me to run far, far away and vow to be a Yankee for the rest of my life. Nothing west or south of the Mason-Dixon line for this chick. :-)

On a random note, I met Bob Saget and Mr. T in LA on my trip there. Nothing cool about it though, they’re both old and washed up. Oh well.

  7. Jodi Says:

lol He’s from New Mexico. Maybe he needs a vacation.

I was born and mostly raised in Orange, Calif., but I’ve been midwesternized.

The first time I went back (after a couple of years) it was like going home.

After another couple of years it felt more like “a nice place to visit but I wouldn’t want to live there.”

I’m perfectly happy in my relatively quiet smalltown in this “flyover” state, thanks.

  9. Smarty Says:

Hey SCG what do you think of Washington?

  10. Smarty Says:

Anyone know of a better way of honoring George Bush than to go skiiing on President’s Day?

  11. Smarty Says:

    You can go downhill fast.

  13. zDom Says:

I thought that was an allusion to the claim that Bush did cocaine :)

  14. SCG Says:

Ahhh, D.C. The only thing I like about that place is the shopping. Other than that, the traffic is horrible, the crime rate is worse, and the housing market is atrocious.

If I must live on the east coast, it would be in New York, Vermont, or Maine.

And if you’re lucky enough to have President’s Day off work, I say grab your lady, sit by the fire with hot cocoa, and chill. Screw skiing. :-)

  15. Sgt Poon Says:

So you hate traffic, high crime, and ridiculous housing costs, but you’d move to New York???

  16. SCG Says:

I never said NYC. There are sensible places in NY to live.

  17. Sgt Poon Says:

In that case, you could find sensible places to live near D.C.
There are nice places (and not so nice places) in pretty much every state.
You’re generalizing a bit too much for my tastes :)

  18. SCG Says:

I was asked my personal opinion about Washington and I gave it. Call down my dear friend Sarge.

I have looked at the housing market in many metropolis areas and I am not impressed with the D.C. area. I do this stuff for a living so I am very aware of which places have nice and not so nice places to live.

Plus…anywhere the chance is likely that I’ll be molested by some old, hairy politician is not kosher with me. :-D
