Has anyone seen the Burger King commercials for their new stacker burgers, or whatever they call them? I’m all about eating way more than the human body should allow, but FOUR patties of meat on one bun is a little ridiculous, even to me. I would rather eat two doubles than a “quad”.
This is nothing new with BK though. Their giant breakfast sandwich is actually called “the giant breakfast sandwich”. Egg, meat and cheese, and meat and cheese, and meat and, meat, and maybe some more cheese. Good lord that’s alot of samich. No wonder America is fatter than ever.
I’m not really complaining though. I think the combo meals at most places are too small anyway. If I’m gonna spend between $5-7, I want to get my money’s worth. So I say bring on the big burgers, super sized fries, and 64 oz soft drink.
Just not 4 patties on one bun. That’s too much.

I think the government should heavily tax junk/fast food like it does cigarettes and alcohol. Our public schools should also take out vending machines filled with unhealthy snacks and replace them with healthier alternatives.
Mark my words, obesity is going to be a bigger epidemic than AIDS in the U.S. should we sit back and allow things to continue spiraling out of control.
July 14th, 2006 at 11:56 am
Why must you always be such a nazi? People don’t necessarily choose to get aids. People have the option to not eat bad food every day, or at least exercise if they do. Food is expensive enough as it is. We don’t need additional taxes on it.
July 14th, 2006 at 12:06 pm
And who is going to pay for all the medical care those FAT people need after they can’t work anymore? I already have to pay for the welfare women who can’t work because of all thier damn kids. WHY DON”T THEY JUST SAY NO???
July 14th, 2006 at 12:21 pm
I resent the nazi reference Ken. I merely want children to grow up and live longer lives than their parents. For the first time EVER, children are at risk of shorter lifespans than their parents. I, for one, am truly horrified at that thought.
The already-fragile health system in this country is heavily strained by obesity and obesity-related diseases right now. It will only get worse.
And just because you’re thin doesn’t mean you’re healthy either. Fat and skinny people alike should not be endorsing these establishments that pride themselves on gluttony. I applaude Wendy’s though at their continuting attempts at offering healthier choices on their menu.

let the fat little piggy’s eat so people like jodi can keep their bk or mcdonalds jobs
July 14th, 2006 at 3:20 pm
I meant through my taxes ME. Sorry, I’ll try and remember to spell it out for you slow ones from now one.
July 14th, 2006 at 3:21 pm
I think the govt should tax fast food instead of cigarettes and alcohol - I actually enjoy those
July 14th, 2006 at 3:42 pm
They can tax the hell out of cigarettes for all I care.
July 14th, 2006 at 3:51 pm
Only peasants eat at BK, and since Kenny eats there Kenny is a peasant.
Kenny fo fenny bo benny lo lenny, loser boiiiiiii
July 14th, 2006 at 4:11 pm
Whatever, the freakin’ queen of England eats at Burger King. Everyone needs a little flame broiled goodness.
July 14th, 2006 at 7:25 pm
You want JUMBO fries with that order sir???
July 15th, 2006 at 9:24 am
If it weren’t bad enough, I saw a new commercial for the stackers where they are hauling in a giant tomato and the boss gets all pissed, saying “we don’t do veggies!”
If it doesn’t clog your arteries, we don’t do it.
July 15th, 2006 at 2:16 pm
Listen ass monkeys, I’m fat and it’s not because of fast food, it’s genetics and laziness. My german ancestors came in 2 sizes, so skinny you could use them for a tooth pick or fat, nothing in the middle.
My grandmother was a BIG woman and she worked her ass off all day every day, cooking, cleaning, gardening and so forth so it wasn’t a lack of exercise, everything the ate just stuck to her hips.
Besides, whats the fuss Ken?
Wendy’s has been selling Wendy’s Triples for years and In ‘n Out Burger you can order them as big as you want, 3×3 (3 patties, 3 cheese), 6×6, you name it. I watched some idiot high school snot eat a 10×10 one day picking the patties out one at a time as you couldn’t even pick it up let alone bite it.
Besides, if you think the COMBO meals are too small, your ass is headed to be SUPERSIZED before long as that’s a bad attitude about food dude.
July 15th, 2006 at 2:54 pm
You know what a bad attitude about food is? DIETING!
July 15th, 2006 at 3:53 pm
Dieting is a bad attitude?
So tell us the truth, you top 300# yet eating all those combos that don’t have enough food?
July 15th, 2006 at 8:47 pm
Dieting does suck and 99.9% of people who diet are destined for failure.
What ever happened to moderation and daily exercise?
And don’t give me that genetics crap BILL. You’re not fat merely because it runs in the family. Lack of physical activity + bad eating habits = obese.
July 15th, 2006 at 10:38 pm
Don’t give me your sanctimonius crap Steel, genetics plays a factor in fat just like in cholesterol and diabetes and some scientists think some cases of fat may even be virus related.
I always exercised a bunch until I blew out my knee a couple of years ago but it didn’t help - watched the calories - all that nonsense, genetics DOES play a part.
July 16th, 2006 at 9:55 am
I agree that genetics does play a part, which is why there are some people that can exercise just as much as the next person and still have a hard time losing weight.
July 16th, 2006 at 11:00 pm
Decrease your input and increase your output. That’s how you lose weight.
Stop taxing everything. Just use a little will power to not smoke and eat right. Nobody corporation shoves these things into people. They’re choices you make.
All these gigantic burgers make me think is ‘The smaller gigantic burger wasn’t enough for someone?’
July 17th, 2006 at 10:37 am
Genetics may make it more difficult but it does not predetermine you to a life of obesity.
Stop making excuses. I come from a family of meaty people and find that because I work out and eat properly, I am healthier than many of my family members.
RockNRoll: it’s apparent will power isn’t enough to keep people away from these vices. It’s killing our society and if taxing isn’t the solution, what is?
July 19th, 2006 at 11:08 am
Obesity is more than just a physical health issue. It is a mental health issue.
Obesity leads to a poor self image which leads to depression.
Also, I wish they would do a study on “blown out” knees.
I think they would find that most knee problems are due to obesity and lack of exercise - too much weight on a weakened structure. Your body will get as weak as you let it.
I had a knee injury and rehabilitated it, then added strengthening exercises to my daily routine so my knees are stronger than ever.
It just breaks my heart when I see a beautiful woman destroy her body and self esteem by letting herself go.
On the other hand, I don’t mind that all you potential rivals for female attention turning into big fat slobs.
I’m an old fashioned guy. I have a not-so-secret desire to establish a harem of shapely, well-adjusted hotties.

Be careful what you wish for zDom. Ask any man around that is married or in a relationship with a woman and they will tell you that one is more than enough.
The quickest way to insanity is juggling more than one lady…

Heheheh Steel City Gal:
The more I read your posts, the more I like you ; )
You’ve got a healthy sense of humor and wit.
Regrettably, I think you’re right: modern women ARE a handful.
And me? Truth is I am just an incurable flirt - could be I’m like those dogs who chase all the cars they see drive by but wouldn’t know what to do if they actually caught one =)
July 20th, 2006 at 8:19 am
Hey, I love those BK big breakfast sandmiches. ow the 4 high bergers ill agree is too much. Just adding my 2 cents
July 20th, 2006 at 8:53 am
zDom:
What can I say, I’m too damn cute and charming not to like.
Anyone who thinks otherwise is just a sour puss.
While modern women are a handful, we are fully worth it. Who wouldn’t prefer an educted, self-sufficient, independent woman over a June Cleaver? Every man dreams of a sugar mama and a modern woman is capable of being such.
Something tells me you’ve chased and caught a car at least once in your life. Stop being so modest. LOL
July 20th, 2006 at 4:20 pm
Maybe a couple =)
I just hate having to let go of one I’ve previously caught to chase another…
especially since it usually means losing them both
