That’s right. At the risk of suffering from foot in mouth syndrome, Angry Ken is not saying anything about the game this weekend. I’m not even going to try to predict what might happen in this game. I just hope the Bengals come out on the winning side.
But don’t get me wrong. I still hate the Steelers. More than any team in sports, but I’m not getting into a trash talking war.
And you have to admit that this is now the biggest rivalry in the NFL. I can’t wait until Sunday.
WHO DEY!

Joey Porter thinks of the Ravens as a bigger rival than the Bengals… This is a quote from him, talking about the Steelers/Bengals rivalry:
It is, Porter added, missing an ingredient that would put it in the category of Cowboys-Redskins, Broncos-Raiders and, well, Steelers-Ravens.
“The rivalry we play with Baltimore, face masks get ripped off, some people get stepped on, there’s a lot of dirty things that go on in that game,” Porter said. “It’s a true dislike.”

Well fuck that guy! He’ll see what a rivalry is!

Damn, Ken. You’ve gone soft…
September 21st, 2006 at 12:33 pm
LOL how do you really feel?

I really haven’t had anything to get pissed about yer regarding this game. Usually someone from the Steelers says something idiotic and then I get fired up. It is only Thursday though.

I LOVE the Steelers, but I thought Ben looked like hell on Sunday, so I’m afraid the Bengals are going stomp all over them this week! Sigh!
September 21st, 2006 at 3:39 pm
I sure hope that’s the case. It won’t be another 9-0 game though.

The Steelers biggest rival are the Bengals. Everyone here in Pittsburgh knows it. Our division is spotty. The Steelers are always a tough team. But the Bengals, Browns, and Ravens are only good once in a while. It’s damn annoying that when one of those three teams rise up in any given season and beat the Steelers they brag all over the place. Hence, you have players like Chad Johnson or some other idiot acting like he’s been beating us for years when in reality it’s the other way around.
So kudos Bungles! Marv has done a splendid job and hopefully management won’t fire him because we need a solid, sustainable challenge in our division. Yes, OUR division. Although kicking Kitna’s ass for years was fun.
Don’t expect a cakewalk Sunday.

Wait, wait wait! The Steelers are always good?! Did he say that??? OK. When was the last time they won the super bowl before last year??? HA HA HA HA Yeah, they are always good!

Hey Jodi, unless you know a little something about football other than “Isn’t Tom Brady dreamy?”, you should sit there like a good little blonde and keep your mouth shut.
Here we go. Here we go. Here we go, Steelers, here we go…
Steeler fans know the rest of the song.

The Steelers have been the dominant team in the North for the most part… Although 6-10 in 2003 was hardly “good”.

Ha Ha Joey Porter’s in trouble.

When I said that the Bengals Steelers rivalry was one of the biggest in the NFL, I was referring to the present. Past years won’t make much difference Sunday. You have to worry about the present division and who is good now, not who has or hasn’t been good for the past few years.
Joey Porter has at least carried himself professionally during this incident, I must admit. Although if he wanted to raise pets, he should’ve gotten a German Shepherd.

Jodi winning the superbowl is not the only measure of success in the NFL. If thats the case there is only one good team per year. Making the Playoffs is the real measure of a good team, because in the playoffs if you have a bad game you’re out. We have also been to 4 AFC championships and 2 superbowls in recent history.

I know it’s not. It also has to do with strength of schedule. I think the Steelers have had it easy for a while. And when they get to the big games, they can’t hang. That was my only point. I love Bill Cowher. He’s one of the best coaches out there because he doesn’t care how much money you make, he’ll be in your face when you mess up. And I actually like the Steelers because of their coach (and Santonio Holmes). I will always cheer for the Bengals because I love them. And I am glad we finally have a team that can shut the Steeler fans up. Now if only the Reds could shut up the Cub fans….

Please give some facts to back up your so-called weak schedule Pittsburgh has had Jodi. Here…I’ll even give you the link to look at their past 4 seasons. Maybe that will help you get your story straight.

Ever think it’s the opponents not living up to their hype and the Steelers surpassing theirs? Of course you wouldn’t, you’re a diluted Bengals fan.

Browns, Saints, Titans, Texans, Ravens, Green Bay. We play them too. So I guess it really comes down to the teams that matter. And last year, you won most of those. So congrads! But it’s a new season and our team is prepared. They’ve had to hear “We-Day” since Wednesday. I think they are out for blood. See you at 1!

After that nasty loss to Jax last week, the Steelers are also looking for retribution.
I’ll be nervously watching it on my computer at work. Game day jitters kill me!

OH that sucks! You should put in for vacation for the next one!
