Boston Red Sox pitcher David Wells makes me laugh. He just tries so hard to come off looking like a badass it’s comical.

So Wells is mad that MLB comissioner Bud Selig made the Yankees take down that stupid sign they had up at their spring training facility which apologizes to the fans for the absence of several star players, who are off playing in the World Baseball Classic.

Let me switch gears for a moment and say that Steinbrenner is an idiot for having this sign put up. It even had a typo, calling them the Yankess. Anyway, no one cares about srping training. Anyone who thinks that they would be trotting their overpriced roster out on the field everyday is dreaming. And Steinbrenner has been openly bitching about his players going to play in the WBC because he doesn’t want his stars injured. Well considering they went on their own free will, I don’t know what Georgie’s deal is. Maybe he should have paid them off to stay home so they could sit out five of every six spring training games.

So back to Wells. He’s now talking all this trash about Bud Selig, calling for his resignation and calling him an idiot. Now let me just say that I’m not a fan of Selig. But Wells is just an idiot.

Wells said that Selig was just bored and decided to have the sign removed. Wells also said that Selig wouldn’t take the time to talk with him. I’m sorry, but he’s the f*cking commisioner of Major League Baseball! And in case you didn’t know, things aren’t exactly quiet around there. Not only does Selig have the job of running a professional sports league, he has been dealing with the whole steroids issue for quite a while now. I doubt he has time to listen to the nonsensical rantings of an overweight buffoon like Wells. If I were Selig, I would fine the hell out of Wells. Especially if he was going around calling me a “piece of sh*t.”

No one cares about the Yankees and their stupid, misspelled sign. Everyone knows that Steinbrenner only cares about himself and his team that probably, once again, won’t win a championship even with their astronomical payroll. 

David Wells should be fined no less than 500 grand. What a jackass!
