Continuing in my “Joey Porter is a piece of Shit” series. I just want to point out how big off an ass this guy made himself out to be last night.
After talking trash all week, Porter was all but nonexistent in the Superbowl. For everything he said he was going to do, I didn’t hear his name mentioned once during the game. Sure they “won” the game, but old Joey didn’t seem to make much of a difference.
After the game, Porter made excuses for why he didn’t do shit during the game. He said that sometimes your number doesn’t get called (although I’m sure he sounded more “street” when he said it) and today my number didn’t get called. I just did what I was told.
In other words, Porter talked trash all week, but when it came time to play, he couldn’t back it up. So now he makes excuses. Way to go Joe. We all knew you were an idiot. Now we just have more proof. Piece of shit.

And if you are planning on making comments about how I may or may not have made excuses about earlier games, try again. I know what I said and I stand by it. Now let’s hear you defend your boy.

Ken, all I have to say is this: Lets bitch more about a guy that has accomplished more in his life than you or I will. Yeah…that sounds like a good idea. Tell ya what… you can go on national TV and say what you want when you do anything of signifigance.
The top of that mountain Porter is on sure looks far away from the bottom.

He’s living proof that you don’t have to be intelligent to be rich and successful.
February 8th, 2006 at 1:29 pm
So is about 90% of the NFL, especially the Chad Johnson you seem to idolize. I think anyone who shows off like that really needs to be cut down - even Porter. But until someone better comes along…..
There are a lot of these examples out there… some would say Bush, but that’s just some.

I understand exactly where you are coming from. I can understand to a point why people don’t like Chad Johnson. Perhaps I am a little biased because he is a Bengal. I wouldn’t mind if he would just keep his mouth shut sometimes and just play football, however I do enjoy his TD celebrations, as long as he stays focused on the real issue, and that’s winning.
The thing with athletes is that they are at least talented in their respective sport, so they can be idiots yet make millions of dollars. You can’t say the same for others (shitty rappers, singers) who are neither talented nor intelligent, yet make more money in a year than I will see my entire life.
And I voted for Bush, twice. And I’d vote for him again. He’s the man.

a lot of the trash talking that porter did was him saying that Stevens was soft. in case you didnt notice stevens dropped 3 passes when he got hit. all three were big plays (long throws, third down conversions, etc)
and Bush is the man
February 8th, 2006 at 8:50 pm
Ken, you are such a hypocrite! To enjoy Johnson’s end zone debacles but call out anyone else who does it is so biased. I honestly don’t care if people trash talk or do ridiculous end zone celebrations because that means they are passionate about the game. And lets not forget to mention it gives you something to rant about.
Oh, and Bush totally sucks.

Liberal Hippie gal, who did I call out? I think it’s idiotic for people to talk the way Porter does. I have no problem with td celebrations, as long as they are creative. Guys like Hines Ward who only do it to insult or mock people are the ones I can’t stand. Be creative. Don’t do something that’s already been done.
February 8th, 2006 at 9:41 pm
I take it as a compliment that you call me a liberal hippie. I am tolerant of all people, do not rush to judgment, and think that all people should have a chance to be monetarily comfortable. All the things a greedy, right-winged Republican stands against.
And your point from your last reply is that it’s alright for players to celebrate as long as it’s on your terms. I like to call people like you NARROW MINDED.
February 9th, 2006 at 12:04 pm
I voted for Bush….
Hines Ward has the best attitude of any reciever in football Andy K. If you are going to criticize him for mocking already stupid celebrations. I mean, that is just ridiculous. The man is always smiling, goes out of the way to make the catches, getting himself hurt and beat up, then comes back for the next play. Plus, do you ever really see him trash talk before, during, or after a game? Hmmm, no. If he makes fun of T.O. after scoring a touchdown GREAT. If he makes fun of Chad Johnson’s ideas, GREAT…. some of the cockier people need to be put in thier place some times, and Ward can do that. He catches, get yards after the catch, and is THE best blocking reciever.
My point? My point is that Ward doesn’t need ridiculously stupid end zones shows to show people how good he is, he plays it out on the field. To make fun of the people who do it is fantastic. The fact that you EVEN SAID something so stupid is what got me on this rant. That was probably one of the least thought out things I’ve seen on here, congrats.
For that, here is your sticker [ I D I O T ]
Pull that head out of that ass son, and you’ll see the world beyond the love of your NFL sweethearts.
Now I will admit I do have an affinity for the Steelers, but I can recognize when a player is too cocky - such as Porter. So cover that base again if you want to call me a fan boy. I’ve already stated my dislike for the showboat breed.

Oh CincySux, I won’t hold it against you that you voted for Bush. :-p
February 11th, 2006 at 5:26 pm
How much does Chad Johnson open his mouth and you love it? He pre-plans his end zone celebrations and talks shit till the cows come home and didn’t get in the end zone once against Pittsburgh. I know this is a good arguement but it you keep ignoring it.
Answer, dumb ass. On second thought, don’t. Keep living in your dream world with Brooks and the rest of the hopeless Bunghole fans.
February 11th, 2006 at 6:40 pm
i think you mean angry ken, cincisux. i love hines ward, theres not a more complete wide reciever in football. yeah hines mocks chad, but he’s just kidding around, look at the guy. cincisux is right, he’s always smiling. Ward’s mocking of TO and Chad Johnson was hilarous, all in good light
February 13th, 2006 at 12:12 pm
Chad Johnson talks trash to guys that he is already good friends with. His antics are in good fun also. I don’t have a problem with it because anyone who follows the Bengals knows that Chad Johnson works his ass off to be one of the top receivers in the game. He often sleeps overnight at the Bengals training facility during the season.
Hines Ward is ALWAYS smiling. It bugs the hell out of me.
