Steelers LB Joey Porter says he is unimpressed with the Indianapolis Colts, a team they lost to 28-7, or something like that. “They don’t want to just sit there, line up and play football,” Porter told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “They want to try to catch you off guard. They don’t want to play smash-mouth football, they want to trick you. … They want to catch you substituting. Know what I mean? They don’t want to just call a play, get up there and run a play. They want to make you think. They want it to be a thinking game instead of a football game.”
So basically, Porter is admitting that he is not much in the brains department and would rather not have to think when he’s on the field. Here’s an idea Porter. How about instead of celebrating 20 yards down the field after a tackle while the Colts are lining up you should get your ass back to the line. Sorry Joey, but you don’t become the best team in the league by going out and playing like a neanderthal. Maybe if you ask nicely, the Colts will slow everything down for you, or just agree to run the ball up the middle everytime. Don’t worry about being outsmarted. I guess the Steelers aren’t paying you to think. Dumbass.

After all the blogs I’ve read on this site that Bengals loss must really sting. I’m a fan of neither team but you really sound like a cry baby. Your arguements are really flimsy and seems as if you were on the winning side none of this would matter to you. Cincy fans act the way. Chad Johnson. Need I say more about being classless. That guy is a walking temper tantrum. The theres the video released with the Bengals defacing the terrible towel. Rubbing it on their feet and what not. Pot calling the kettle black all the way. I can’t wait to see your rebuttal sticking up for Chad Johnson though. Seriously, the guy is no better than T. fucking O.

Here we go again. Maybe someone will listen this time. YES, the Bengals loss does sting. ALOT! I am not crying about it. I am just airing my grievances regarding the whole thing. Yeah, things would probably be different if we had won. What exaclty does Chad Johnson do that can be classified as classless? Sure he’s over the top, but he has fun with it, and so does everyone else. To my knowledge, He has not thrown any temper tantrums. Yes, he gets emotional and sometimes might speak out, but none of it has been detrimental. So I disagree that Chad Johnson has done anything classless.
As far as the video of Bengals players defacing the terrible towel, I haven’t seen or heard of such a video. I’m not saying that it doesn’t exist, I just can’t comment on it since I haven’t seen it.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Chad Johnson is NOT Terrell Owens. Not even close. TO is a selfish, greedy bastard who single handedly ruined his team’s season. TO doesn’t care about anyone but himself and his money. Chad Johnson is all about winning. Every Sunday night after a game he appears on the local news. It doesn’t matter if he had a huge game or a sub par game, his focus is on the team and winning. He could have a career day, but if they lose the game, it shows that he is disappointed and he feels he could have done more to help them win.
So anyone who thinks that Chad Johnson is comparable to TO does not know anything about Chad Johnson.

Marcos, I think you are wrong about Chad. TO is not seen as a “villian” because of his TD celebrations; he became disliked because he openly talked smack about his teammates and didn’t abide to his contractual obligations. Back when he was signing footballs with sharpies, I thought he was great, and fun to watch!
So far, Chad’s antics have been fun for the fans, and not a real detriment to the team. I don’t know where you live, or how much Bengal coverage you watch, but there have been a few times that Marvin Lewis (Head Coach) has shut down some of Chad’s “extra-curriculars,” and that’s always been the end of it (publicly, anyway).
I do fear that down the road, Chad may turn into a TO like monster. Afterall, both TO and Chad have the same blood-sucking, team-ruining agent (I fear to speak or type his name). But, Chad hasn’t given me any reason so far for me to believe he would turn on his team, so I have to give him the benefit of the doubt.
As far as Chad’s “temper tantrums”… what are you referring to?
And stepping on a towel is nothing compared to walking on a player who is down on the field (see: the very next play after Palmer goes down). That is “classless.”

Yeah, and I wasn’t down with that because I hate TO and I hope Chad never turns out like that. I Don’t think is any of those three words you used to describe him though. He can be immature, but he really is a good guy.
I was referring to when TJ Houshmandzadeh went to the ground trying to catch a pass. As he tried to get up he was being stood over by two Pittsburgh defenders (I don’t remember who). It just made me angry, but then again, what doesn’t?

Chad is on his way to being T.O. definetely. Wide reciever, above average talent, looking for the most attention possible, good or bad. I guess I just prefer players who once in a while do end zone celebrations…when the mood strikes them. None of this planning shit.
