People are always finding things to be be offended by these days. This time they’ve gone too far. Apparently people are not allowed to say the word Christmas or “Merry Christmas” to anyone because it might offend them. Now I am all for diversity and celebrating different holidays, but who the hell are these people that get offended by the word Christmas? They are really pissing me off. You are free to celebrate Hannukah or Kwanzaa or Festivus all you want, but if you try sue me or anyone else because they told you to have a Merry Christmas, I will proceed to beat you with your own menorah, festivus pole, or Kwanzaa log (or whatever Kwanzaa has). And I hadn’t even heard of Kwanza until about 10 years ago (I can hear the angry emails now). My point is, if the cashier at the grocery store wishes you a Merry Christmas and you happen to celebrate a different holiday during this time of year, LET IT GO! That person wished happines for you, not to get shot in the street. And last time I checked, there are more people that celebrate Christmas than any of the other holidays. I don’t blow out your Hannukah candles, don’t chop down my Christmas tree. Oh, and happy holidays.
