I give a shit because I just bought one of their “old” ones a few months back and am pissed. Who knew you can’t text pics from your cell? You have to email them. Or that my cell bill has incresed significantly because of the additional data package you’re forced to buy. The internet is slow, the phone freezes up, and you can’t take video.
The moral of the story?
Never buy ANY brand new technology. It will be very expensive and unreliable at first. Future releases are always cheaper and more refined. For instance, that $10,000 42 inch plasma you bought several years ago pretty much halved in price every year over the next 5. Plus it got sharper and more durable.
I’m not a techy. I don’t need the newest gadget ’round. But I did want to streamline my crap so I thought getting the iPhone was perfect. There have been 2 times I’ve regretted an electronic purchase…
First was the new LCD t.v.’s from back in the day. As you stated above, it cost a fortune and within 2 years the pixels were burning out. (And this was a top-o-the-line one. Grrr!)
Second has been my iPhone.
I honestly think I’m going to give my iPhone away and go back to my old phone.

I guess Angry Ken went back to being just ‘Ken’
He sure hasn’t been very angry lately
