You’ll be picked up and shoferred two thousand feet up the Koolau mountains, and after gearing up you’ll begin coasting 5 miles downhill on mountain bikes over paved roads through the lush Oahu rainforest. As you stop at different overlooks, Bike Hawaii’s tour guides will mention places of interest and geological features from high above Honolulu and Waikiki. Once you reach the bottom, enjoy a delicious lunch and a refreshing beverage before a quick shuttle ride to Kewalo Basin. You’ll then board the captivating “Kahala Kai” catamaran and then you’ll embark on a relaxing cruise around the island. Learn about the Hawaiian reef and see Waikiki from a very different perspective. Swim or snorkel in the warm waters near Waikiki Beach as you search for honu (green sea turtles) and tropical reef fish. Nai’a (spinner dolphins) are sometimes seen playing off the wake of the catamaran. Kohola (humpback whales). Complimentary drinking water and fresh water rinses are available for your convenience. Oh, and don’t forget to bring your camera, swim wear and towel!
