Enjoy Quality Family Time with All Inclusive Holidays in Greece
My husband and I both come from big families. I have three sisters and he has two sisters and a brother. Since starting a family of our own and living near to a number of our siblings and their families, you can imagine how big our family get togethers are! We try and attend as many family events as we can, but as you can imagine, it’s quite exhausting and expensive.
Our summer holiday is the time of the year that my husband and I spend quality time with our two daughters. No one else – just the four of us. Over the years, we’ve enjoyed a number of all inclusive holidays in Greece together. One particular favourite was our trip to Crete last year. Family commitments left firmly on UK soil, we jetted off to this stunning Greek island in search of relaxation and adventure.
The reason why we had such a fantastic time in Crete was due to the fact that it simply has it all. Stunning beaches, hot weather, historic ruins, epic mountains, outstanding valleys, tasty cuisine, entertaining waterparks, quality hotels… the list is endless.
We spent seven days in the largest region of the island – Heraklion. Nestled between two mountain ranges, it offered our family lots of things to do during the day. Archaeological attractions, pretty villages, olive groves, horse riding, museums and not forgetting its beaches! We packed a lot into each day, but made sure we visited the beach once a day – whether in the morning or late afternoon. Greece holidays are all about enjoying the country’s amazing attractions, but also relaxing in its hot climate. It’s important to return from holiday feeling relaxed and recharged.
There are a number of Greece cheap holidays available online – allowing us to spend our spare euros on treating ourselves when we’re out there. We’ve also enjoyed family holidays to Athens, Rhodes and Corfu. Greece is definitely the destination that never fails to cater to all of our tastes.
