My neighbors’ Costa Rica Honeymoon
Recently I have a a new neighbor who just moved into the house next to mine. His name’s Jim and his wife’s name is Marie. they just got married not too long ago and went to Costa Rica for their honeymoon. I was curious to know how their Costa Rica honeymoon went so I asked them and they were more than willing to share. They went in January so it was considered as the peak period for visiting Costa Rica and everything else was expensive but money wasn’t an issue for them. Anyway their first destination was Nicoya Peninsula so i was curious as why they chose that because normally honeymoon couples who have money would opt for the more commercialized destinations such as Quepos and Jaco at the south of the Puntarenas province. Well I found out that both Jim and Marie were nature lovers and took environmental issues very seriously. So Nicoya Penincula has one of the best nature reserves in the country and the beaches there are also less crowded. They stayed in Montezuma Costa Ricaand according to them, the town was perfect as a gateway to visit the nearby places such as Mal Pais, Santa Teresa and Cabo Blanco. For accommodation they booked into Ylang Ylang which is considered to be the best resort money could buy in Montezuma Costa Rica. They took the villa unit so that they could get a perfect view of the ocean. Some of the must do things in Montezuma are horse back riding on the beach, swimming and snorkeling, massages on the beach plus you should also try out the European cuisines at the local restaurants as they are well know for that due to the presence of a large European community at the town. On the weekend, don’t forget to join the most happening party in town at the local bar near the beach.
