To Live is to go to Costa Rica
I always told my friends that if they haven’t been to Costa Rica then they have not truly live. Maybe the statement is too accelerated but it doesn’t take away the fact that you have missed out on the wonders of nature if you have never been there. Costa Rica is both beautiful and romantic at the same time as the country is a favourite among honeymooners and dating couples. I remember my Costa Rica honeymoon which took place almost 3 years ago, it was absolutely the best holiday that I ever had in years. Costa Rica is a land of pristine and beautiful beaches. I have lost count of the number of beaches as it seems that every coastal town in the country boasts of its own beach to offer to tourists and visitors. Of course the popular ones are like the beaches in Quepos, Jaco and Manuel Antonio but they are also the most crowded especially during the peak season. If you want less crowded beaches, you can either go to the Nicoya Peninsula or Limon province on the Caribbean coast. Personally I love the beached in Nicoya Peninsula in particularly the ones in Santa Teresa, Tambor and Montezuma Costa Rica. Santa Teresa is a trendy place that are attracting a lot of young and hip crowds plus it is also a favourite spot for surfing as it has one of the best waves in the country. Tambor on the other hand is pretty quite and the sea is equally calm which makes it a perfect place for swimming and other water activities. To me, Montezuma Costa Rica is the best as it combines the best of what you can find in Santa Teresa and Tambor. Montezuma is quiet during the weekdays where you can enjoy long walks or horse riding on the beach or catch an English movie at one of the hotels in town. On the weekend, it is a different scenario as one of the bars in town throw one of best parties in the area or even country. You can see people coming as far as the capital city and surrounding areas to the bar to join the party which usually last till the wee hours of the morning.
